Hi, I’m Nicole, Your Certified Loc Coach

I have been through the full cycle of hair journeys—braids, wigs, traditional locks—and now, I’m back home to my natural roots.

As Black women, we carry so much through our hair—our history, our identity, our self-expression. I understand the struggle of finding a style that feels like you—one that honours your texture, your lifestyle, and your freedom. Like many, I spent years searching for the right path, moving through different styles before finally embracing the beauty of my own natural hair.

That journey led me to become a trained hair care professional and open Jamaica’s first exclusive natural hair salon. For years, I wore traditional locks, believing I had found my forever style. Then I discovered Sisterlocks™, and everything changed. It was the best hair decision I had ever made—the freedom, the versatility, and the confidence it gave me were unmatched.

When I moved to London, I became one of the first Sisterlocks™ consultants in the UK, supported by two selfless women who believed in community over competition. My work quickly grew, and I became "R" Certified, allowing me to teach women how to maintain their own locks—because I believe in empowerment through knowledge.

Now in Canada, I continue to do what I love—helping Black women reclaim their natural beauty, one Sisterlock at a time. My approach is built on connection, care, and community. When you sit in my chair, it’s not just about hair—it’s about feeling seen, understood, and supported.
